Centric Health's collective response to the Covid-19 Pandemic is in line with most up to date advice from the Health Protection Surveillance Centre.
Our Practice Policy will parallel the most up to date Public Health Advice.
We strive to protect all our Patients, Communities and Healthcare Workers.
We value our patients and want to continue to provide high-quality care and service. In order to do so, we need to set boundaries and manage expectations that will grow an effective practice/patient relationship. This is a contract that outlines the behaviours we will expect from you and in return we will make every effort to accommodate your needs.
- Behaviour expectation: all patients must be courteous at all times to all staff, in person, telephonically and via email. Any incidents will be documented and reported to both the HSE and Garda Siochana. We have zero tolerance, and offenders will be removed instantly from the panel and in some instances face prosecution. Everyone at Manor Mills Medical Centre is dedicated to providing a great service to our patients. In return we expect patients to be courteous to Manor Mills Medical team members at all times, as they have the right to feel safe and secure while at work. Any patient showing violent or aggressive behaviour towards Manor Mills Medical team members or other patients will be asked to leave the medical centre.
- Appointments are in high demand, and it can take up to two weeks to get an appointment. Appointments are triaged by reception staff at the request of the doctors, please cooperate to ensure that you are seen in a timely fashion. Appointments are allocated to whichever doctor is available on any given day, no preferences can be considered.
- Prescription renewal forms must be completed by the patient and be aware that there is a 72-hour turnaround time due to the workload.
- Benzodiazepine medications are only ever prescribed in low doses and only for a short period, at the GP’s discretion.
- Medical Consultation: to ensure effective, safe and focused consultations, patients are kindly requested to limit discussions to a maximum of two concerns per appointment. This allows the doctor to provide a thorough evaluation and care for each issue within the allowed time. For additional concerns, a separate appointment can be scheduled.
