Contraception includes the following

• pill check up (doctor or nurse)
• mirena/ kyleena/jaydess/copper coil- discussion/ insertion/removal
• implanon - discussion/insertion/removal
• depo injection

New free contraception services for ages 17-25 year olds

The GP visit and medication is now free for those aged 17-25:

Pill check up (doctor or nurse)

Mirena coil -discussion/ insertion/removal Implanon discussion/insertion/removal Depo injection

Please note the following: If there are any non contraception topics/issues discussed this will incur a full private consultation fee (for non GMS patients).   The cost of copper coil prescription from pharmacy is not at present covered under this scheme.

Please note that coil insertion/removal will not be available in Corbally Medical to nulliparous women. Should you fall under this category please contact your local family planning clinic.
