    Dr Holmes grew up in Howth and has lived most of his life in the local area.
    He is a graduate of Trinity College, Dublin and qualified in 1984.
    He subsequently trained in Ireland and the UK before completing his GP training in 1990.
    He worked for 3 years in Paediatrics in Crumlin and the National Children’s Hospitals before going into General Practice. Paediatrics is one of his areas of special interest along with Men’s Health.
