IT Helpdesk/Field Engineer, Centric Health

Role: IT Helpdesk/Field Engineer
Contract: Permanent
Hours: Full Time 
Location: Balally with requirement to travel (within Ireland) 

 

Purpose of Position:

• Installation & support of backbone network devices such as: Ethernet switches, wireless controllers, routers, firewalls, etc.

Administration of core systems & applications: Hyper-V, Windows Server, Exchange, O365, Antivirus, Active Directory, SQL, Firewalls, anti-virus, anti-spam, general and application servers, etc.
Commission, support and troubleshoot local print solutions
DNS and DHCP maintenance
Inventory, manage and monitor all hardware and services on a continuous basis
Onsite user training and assistance
Provide hand and eye support to members of the Service Desk when onsite
Take Helpdesk calls and handle Helpdesk tickets when not onsite (remote possible)
Identify, and correct any issues across the network or company technology infrastructure

Position Requirements:

• Broad interest in ICT Technology / Tech savvy
• Good communication, customer service and interpersonal skills
• Keen attention to detail and finish tasks
• Enjoying working in a small team
• Ability to think big and outside the box and challenge the status-quo
• Drive and champion innovation and continue improvement
• Able to work on one own initiative and confidence to raise and flag issues that impact service delivery
• Eligible to work in Ireland
• Full Driver's License (VAN will be provided)
• 3+ years of experience working in an IT Support role
