Position

 

Job Title: GP Staffing Placement Specialist

Location: Locumotion, Floor 7 RSA House, Sandyford Road, Dundrum, Dublin 16

Contract: Permanent, Full-Time

Working Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday

Start Date: As soon as possible

Direct Report: Team Lead / General Manager

 

 

Remuneration

 

Salary: Negotiable - can be discussed at interview stage. Bonus structure included alongside annual salary

Annual Leave: 20 annual leave days per year. Incremental increase of 1 working day per year of service to a maximum of 25 days/5 weeks annual leave

Pension: Locumotion participate in a company pension scheme whereby they match a pension contribution to an amount of 5% of the employee’s salary. Employees are eligible to join the company pension scheme from the commencement of their employment

Bonus: There is a performance-based bonus, disbursed on a quarterly basis.

 

 

Scope Of This Position

The main facets of this role are to:

  • Match available doctors with outstanding placements
  • Through effective account management, be responsible for maintaining and developing relationships with new and existing doctors and customers, to maximise doctor placements.

 

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Match available doctors with outstanding placements
  • Identify and engage with both new and existing doctors and customers
  • Engage in sales focused conversations with General Practitioners and our customers
  • Understand the availability, needs and preferences of our doctors in order to place them most effectively
  • Build strong & productive working relationships built on trust and respect
  • Engage with our customers and doctors regularly to advise of the best offers and peak periods so that customers will book effectively and to generate placements
  • Effective account management
  • Regular communication to key stakeholders
  • Manage immediate and urgent requirements, while also balancing long-term projects
  • Forecast doctor availability and potential demand
  • Develop & maintain a healthy doctor panel
  • Collect & verify documentation
  • Work consistently, and at pace, whilst maintaining the necessary attention to detail.
  • Be responsive to doctor and customer needs, understanding the need for urgency in the healthcare sector
  • Communicate clearly both verbally and in written correspondence.
  • Be comfortable with working remotely and using the telephone, as well as emerging online tools, in order to engage with people.
  • Be able to translate data into actionable insights
  • Other administration duties as deemed appropriate
