What is ear syringing?
Ear syringing or irrigation is a common procedure used to remove excess ear wax (cerumen) or foreign objects from the ear, performed at most clinics.
The ear canal and eardrum are delicate structures. When there is too much ear wax build-up, it can result in temporary hearing loss, ringing, earache, and can even cause damage over time.
Ear syringing is a painless procedure, usually involving flushing them out with water.
