Global Vision

Global Vision is a Digital Photography and Grading Services Provider for the HSE National Diabetic Retinal Screening Programme in Ireland. The HSE National Diabetic Retinal Screening Programme, established in 2013, is Government-funded and offers free, annual screening and treatment of diabetic retinopathy, a common complication of diabetes that can lead to deterioration in vision.

Implemented and managed by the National Screening Service (NSS), part of the Health Service Executive (HSE), this call/re-call screening programme aims to reach a growing eligible population of 190,000+ people.

Global Vision is responsible for screening 50% of the eligible population and delivers services from fourteen different screening locations across Dublin, Louth, Meath, Kildare, Offaly, Laois, Carlow, Kilkenny, Wicklow, Wexford and Waterford, under the Clinical Directorship of Consultant Eye Surgeon and co-owner, Mr Mark Cahill (www.progressivevision.ie/go/our_team).
