GP Practices

The Centric Health GP Practices have been uniquely modelled on the Primary Care Strategy to create true “medical centres”. These medical centres have on-site diagnostic facilities and unite GP’s and Practice Nurses with allied health professionals including Dentists,  Consultants, Physiotherapists and HSE primary care teams.

Barriers to success
Traditionally GPs have operated as solo practitioners, often operating from their home and finding it difficult to attract young GP’s to work along side them in their practice. In recent years there have been examples of very successful group practices being developed around the country but the key barrier to the creation of more is the cost of moving into new premises and attracting young associates to work in the practices.

The Centric Health approach
Centric Health acts as a catalyst in the creation of group practices by working with established GP’s from the same local community. We work with them to find or develop a bespoke medical facility that allows the GP to relocate their practice, often from their home, and to recruit young associates who want to build a long term career in the new practice. By providing all the expertise and back office systems required, we ensure that the practices run smoothly. The practices operate as true professional partnerships with the doctors operating the practices as owners and Centric Health as partners within the practice.

We have formed partnerships with local GPs to create a network of 8 GP Practices across Dublin, enabling GPs and their patients to benefit from this partnership.
